Intercultural workshops with European Association of Stonemasons and Sculptors,
Arts and crafts cannot always be learned from scratch and we need to preserve knowledge that has been passed on from generation to generation.
The aim of the „European Association Stonemasons and Sculptors“ is to create „– intercultural workshops” that intend to organize an international exchange for apprentices, companions and masters stone-cutters.
° Preserve and pass on specific knowledge and skills of the profession by these Workshops and to re-create and promote schools for stone-cutters and sculptors to contribute to the development of the arts and crafts.
° Make the exchange of views on the European and Union of the Mediterranean level easier for the instructors and at the same time promote the new generation of stone-cutters and sculptors.
The project is based on the passing on of skills by direct teaching, done by companions or master craftsmen of the most important schools for stone-cutters in Europe.
This stands for new constructions as well as for the renovation of historical buildings.
These intercultural workshops build the basis for the acknowledgment of the equal dignity of all cultures. They teach us that the identity of every people has its profound roots in the past and that diversity is the essence itself of our world.
We guarantee all those who place confidence in our association we guarantee an understandable and transparent working method which, of course is never profit seeking.
Our first workshops shall take place in Europe and/ or also in the Union of the Mediterranean.

The archaeological site of Xanthos-Létôon is one of the most remarkable of Turkey.

This association gathers all the Apprentices, Companions and Masters stone-cutters from professional schools of the fellowship of the “Rhine” area and European stone-cutters.
Via our European Stone Festival, we noticed the interest to develop construction sites of restoration (catering) and to contribute to the conservation of the World heritage. For some more information, please read the following link:
